Dear Tennyson,

We have no useful information here respecting

Sanders Rehders and Company Limited about whom you

wrote to Fountain on the 13th. The Company were

however inspected by our Companies Department who lent

the inspector's reports to Home Office who I understand

have sent copies to you. Payne says that he can add

nothing to the inspector's reports except to say that

from his interviews with Mr. Currell, a director of the

Company whom he saw on several occasions,he did not

think that Mr. Carroll was a person likely to do any thing

with the object of assisting Germans.
